DEPARTMENT
The Mathematics department for students who are passionate about the findings of math. With the excellent faculty at GSCET and the students who want to study math and are keen problem solvers, eager to make sense of even the most advanced equations, the students enrolled can reach new heights. This knowledge enables the students to develop a respectable cerebral level looking to uncover the various concepts in Mathematics. The subject embellishes and finetunes the students’ reasoning, analytical and problem solving skills. Through this, students will have established a strong foundation in Mathematics.
The subject detail entails studying various fields of mathematics such as Introductory Algebra, Calculus, Differential Equations and Calculus of several variables. Students find better perceptions of the classical papers like Abstract Algebra, Linear Algebra and Real and Complex Analysis later in the subject. The students are also exposed to Numerical Analysis and Operations Research papers that aid the students in envisioning and understanding in detail the various numerical methods and integral transforms required in Scientific, Technological and Managerial Applications. Furthermore, students are taught analytical solid geometry, statistics and probability, mechanics and introduced to discrete mathematics.
