Dr. Robin Kumar Samuel M.E., Ph.D – A highly experienced and accomplished individual who has dedicated over 20 years of his professional life to the fields of education, research, and administration within the realm of Mechanical Engineering.

The Chairman of the Trust is Mr.G.D.Mitra, an educationalist with a post graduate degree in Mathematics and a Degree in Education. Having an experience of over 45 years in the field of education as teacher, academician and administrator he has a passion for imparting quality education to all classes of society especially the less privileged.
The Good Shepherd Education Trust was established in the year 1988 with Mr.G.D.Mitra as the Chairman. Serving the society in the field of school education for 30 years the Trust has made its mark in the field of education. The other Trust members also possess Masters Degrees in the field of Technical Education and are holding responsible positions in India and abroad.

Dr. Robin Kumar Samuel is a highly experienced and accomplished individual who has dedicated over 20 years of his professional life to the fields of education, research, and administration within the realm of Mechanical Engineering. His extensive expertise covers a wide spectrum of Mechanical Engineering disciplines, with particular emphasis on Manufacturing, Optimization, and Design.
What truly sets him apart is his global perspective. He’s not confined to a single geographic region; instead, he has shared his wealth of knowledge and insights on Mechanical Engineering on an international scale. Specifically, he spent four years teaching in Muscat, Oman, which added a valuable cross-cultural dimension to his professional journey.
Beyond his role as an educator, he has also taken on significant administrative responsibilities. This dual role demonstrates his versatility and leadership within the field. It’s not just about imparting knowledge but also actively contributing to the development and management of educational programs and institutions.
