The Department of Civil Engineering was established in the year 2018 with an intake of 60 students. Civil Engineering is as old as the Pyramids of Egypt and it is the father of the basic branches of engineering since this course equips these professionals to constrict basic infrastructures such as Buildings, Highways, Railways, Bridges, Dams and Hydro Power plants. “Civil Engineering is the practice of improving and maintaining the built environment to enhance the quality of life for the present and future generations.”
The Department was started in the year 2018 to offer Bachelor of Engineering (BE) Degree programme in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) with an annual intake of 60 students. The effort of well qualified faculty and world class infrastructure of the department has grown up from strength to strength. Currently, the student intake is 60 at the UG level and the faculty of the department is actively involved in the teaching – learning process and research activities with specializations in the core areas of Applied Electronics, Communication Systems, Signal Processing, Embedded System and VLSI.

Mechanical Engineering encompasses in learning the application of physical principles of heat, force, conservation of mass, energy, design of mechanisms, machine elements, system design, manufacturing and maintenance of industrial machinery etc.
