Examination Centre Exam Guidelines

The Examination Centre at Good Shepherd College of Engineering & Technology is a dedicated facility designed to conduct internal and external examinations in a fair, secure, and efficient environment. The centre plays a vital role in upholding the academic integrity and evaluation standards of the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organizing and conducting semester-end, mid-term, and supplementary examinations
  • Coordinating with affiliated universities and examination boards for external exams
  • Ensuring strict adherence to exam protocols, including seating arrangements, invigilation, and time schedules
  • Maintaining confidentiality in the handling of question papers and answer scripts
  • Issuing of admit cards, exam timetables, and hall tickets
  • Publishing of results and distribution of mark sheets in coordination with the academic section

Facilities:

  • Well-equipped examination halls with proper ventilation, lighting, and seating arrangements
  • CCTV surveillance and invigilation support to ensure smooth conduct of exams
  • Accessible support desk for student queries during exam periods

Examination Procedures

  5. Collection, verification, and safe dispatch of answer scripts for evaluation

Student Guidelines

  • Students must report 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam
  • Entry is allowed only with a valid admit card and college ID
  • Mobile phones, smart watches, and other electronic devices are prohibited inside the exam hall
  • Unfair means during exams will lead to disciplinary action as per college regulations
  • Any grievances related to examinations should be reported to the Exam Cell within 3 working days of the event
